We also need to get teams to play us and the more our better potential recruits are publicized early the less likely we can get the best possible home and away non conference schedule as teams will avoid us.That may be the reason these recruits have not been announced on the MSU website.I too am very interested in how recruiting is going but I also want good teams to play us at home.We have a 20 game conference schedule next year so our non conference schedule has been reduced by two.

Naz Reid of the Minnesota Timberwolves got the NBA 6 th man of the year award and the John Havlicek Trophy.He played one very good year at LSU for Will Wade before going pro.LSU won the SEC championship and sweet 16 with him in 2019.Reid helped the Timberwolves to their second best record in franchise history averaging 13.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

Ole Miss transfer and former Top-100 prospect Brandon Murray tells me that he has signed with McNeese State. The 6-6 Murray began his college career at LSU under current McNeese State head coach Will Wade.

Is Alyn Breed still a Cowboy? I’m not sure if he has ever been on the basketball roster officially yet. He is not listed at this time.

A couple of days ago, Gazzolo said Breed is still with the team but has not been given a scholarship yet.

You are welcome. No, I don’t think it was published anywhere. I sent him a message on Facebook, and he was kind enough to give me that information. Wade had said on one of the Pokecasts that Breed had to take care of some business or he would not be retained. Considering he is still here when others have entered the portal shows he must be trying to do what is expected.
